Chapter 26-30



Chapter 26 starts off when the woman that Edward was with came over and sat in Phillips lap. Phillip introduces her as Darlene and she introduced Edward as "Teddy" and said he was scrumptious which somewhat disgusted Anita to say the least. Darlene begins to nibble on Phillip and Phillip is overcome with the addiction he once had but he makes her stop which makes him as well as Anita proud. Anita then tells him that they can leave if he feels uncomfortable because she doesnt want him to have to go through this and this really suprises him because he didnt think Anita would care especially for him. When they are in the bathroom he tries to seduce her again and they kiss with it seems like alot of passion then he bites her neck! Which makes her FURIOUS! But he tells her it is just so when they walk out it will look believable since they are suppossed to be a couple. When they walk out the hostess Madge kinda chuckles at them and asks Anita if she liked it and says there was no way if her and Phillip had been with eachother for a month that nothing has happened. This somewhat amuses them both but they just brush it off and walk away. Anita goes to walk outside and she told Phillip to get away from her and she needs time to herself but he warns her and says that she should not be without him because then she wouldnt be safe and "they" would get her. But she doesnt know who they is all she knows is she needs to go outside and cool down and be away from Phillip. When she is outside she hears a noise and realizes it is someone trying to bring up a zombie when she starts walkign towards the noise she sees that it is Theresea Zachary and other vampires trying to raise the zombie but Zachary couldn't do it because he was not strong enough to raise such an old corpse (over 100 years). Anita then realizes that since he was not strong enough to raise the corpse that they were going to sacrafice him and she just couldnt allow them to kill him with her watching. So she told the vampires that she would help him to raise the zombie so he wouldnt die. They finally agree and Anita and Zachary successfully raise the zombie but while doing this Anita realizes that the reason Zachary was unable to raise the dead was because he himself was dead! So when the zombie was risen it was her blood that the zombie would have to suck! Oh man was she mad, she had been played and all she was trying to do was help him out so he wouldn't die. What an eventful night she was having. As she wa sbaout to leave she asked Zachary how many people he had killed and fed off of so he could remain alive when he refuses to answer this infuriates her even more! As she walks away Theresea steps in her way and asks why she allowed the zombie to feed off her and instead of explainnig herself she just brushed her off and walked away and as she was walking away she heard Jean-Claude's voice and she wondered where he could possibly be but she just kept running and refused to look back. When she finally reached the grass she heard a very familiar voice, Nikoloas! A few moments later Phillip appeared and yelled to Nikoloas that she promisedthey wouldn't harm Anita well tonight anyways and Nikoloas responded with a blow to Phillip and he was down and hurt but proud however that he has finally stood up to Nikoloas. Willie was standing with her she asked Anita if she could feed off her and Anita refused but agreed that she could just kiss her neck. Willie cried out to Anita not to do it but Nikoloas hushed Willie and Anita allowed her to do it anyways. Nikoloas then disappeared and Willie Anita and Phillip all had to get away in Anita's car together. Chapter 29 ended by Anita saying everything was going to be alright and Phillip saying "Come on Anita you dont believe that anymore than I do." all Chapter 30 says is there ride home and get away and Phillip saying he doesn't need to go to the hospital. And when he got out he confessed that he was sent just to try and seduce her but he thought he had failed Anita tries to boost his ego a little bit and says she would care if he died and he agreed that was sort of something important!
