Chapters 15-20

When she gets back to her apartment she is met by Edward. Who is a fellow aminator but more dangerous and she said that if she was the executionar he was death himself. When she sees him in the apartment she is flustered and just wants to go to bed but he tries to force information out of her about where she has been and of the vampire murders. She tells him all she thinks she can but leaves out some of the parts like where their hiding place is and so forth. But he knows she is keeping it from him. He tells her that she can borrow her gun for protection and that he would give her twenty-four hours to tell him where Nikoloas and the other vampires day hiding place was. Anita was worried because she knew either way she would get hurt either from Edward or from Nikoloas but she was more afraid of the wrath of Nikoloas instead of Edward. She finally agrees on the twenty-four hour thing just so she can go to bed and he said to let him know because he was ready to kill some vampires. Edward kind of creeps me out.. alot! That night she dreamed of Jean-Claude again I personally think that something is going to happen with Jean-Claude and it is a type of forweshadowing. She wakes up to a knock at the door and when she attempts to get up it hurts for her to even move because of the beating she had taken the night before. She takes a gun with her to the door incase it wasn't someone pleasant but when she got there it was just anita's friend Ronnie because it was Saturday and they were suppossed to be going to the gym together. As soon as Ronnie sees Anita she makes her go wash up and wrap herself up as best as she can and she makes her a pot of coffee and Anita begins to tell Ronnie about what had happened the few days before leaving out some of the parts she didn't think it was safe for her to know. Ronnie agrees to help Anita with the Vampire deaths the best she can, Anita is worried for Ronnie because she says it's not safe to be a friend of "The Exectutionar." After Ronnie left she decided she would go to work and try to figure out more about the Vampire deaths she teakes a knife and a gun with her because she feels like she can never be safe anymore because there is so many people out to get her. She talks to her boss about the vampire murders and she kind of yells at him and says she is only in it for the money. Also when she is at the office she gets in an arguement with a co-worker Jamison because he was trying to talk people into the chruch of eternal life which was somewhat of a vampire church. And she confronts the mother of the client who wants to be initianated into the Eternal Church of Life. When she is about to walk out of her office she sees Phillip who her co-workers think are her husband the 18 chapter ends by her wondering what she wants. They talk about the Vampire murders and he says he wants to help her and go talk to the familys of the vampires who had died. After plenty of thought Anita finally agrees as long as Phillip is on his best behavior. Chapter 20 begins when they arrive to Rebecca Miles house, Phillip began to speak to her and lets him in her house without seeing Anita behind her when she sees him she is skeptical and gets very frightened like a little child. The only information she really gave was that he reguraly attended "Freak Parties" which are somwehat like vampire sex parites in a way. I'm really confused by this and I can't wait to see what happens to Anita and Phillip when they go to one of the freak parties because Phillip is a regular somewhat like a human vampire slut. Haha! The 20th chapter ends by Phillip saying he would find out more for Anita in relation to the vampire murders.
